**No Charges for Reality Star After Domestic Violence Investigations**

In a recent development, prosecutors have decided not to pursue charges against Taylor Frankie Paul, a prominent figure in the reality series *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*. This verdict follows two separate domestic violence investigations conducted by police in Utah earlier this year, involving Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, who are the parents of a two-year-old son, Ever.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced on April 14 that, after a thorough review by multiple lawyers, there was insufficient evidence to warrant criminal charges. According to the district attorney’s correspondence with local police departments, many of the incidents under investigation date back more than two years, placing them beyond the applicable statute of limitations.

This decision comes on the heels of various allegations exchanged between Paul and Mortensen, which surfaced in February when separate investigations were launched by two police departments in Utah. The Draper City Police Department initially confirmed that a “domestic assault investigation” had commenced after Mortensen reported being assaulted at Paul’s residence. In an April hearing, the court granted Mortensen custody of their son, with Paul allowed supervised visitation for up to eight hours per week. These arrangements are temporary and will be reassessed during a follow-up hearing set for April 30.

In 2023, she was arrested for alleged domestic violence against Mortensen, inciting significant public interest when a video depicting the incident surfaced online. The footage showed Paul appearing to physically confront Mortensen while a child was present. An earlier plea deal saw Paul admit guilt in abeyance to aggravated assault; however, other charges were dropped. Despite the legal issues surrounding the former couple, neither Mortensen nor Paul’s representatives have commented on the recent decisions.
