Jacob Brown, 34, tragically died when his vehicle crashed into the woods and caught fire following a police pursuit on Saturday, September 13. The Maine State Police received multiple 911 calls at around 9:30 p.m. local time, reporting a vehicle driving erratically on I-295 southbound in Richmond, near Mile Marker 45.
Subsequently, troopers located the vehicle, a 2021 gray Jeep Wrangler, close to Mile Marker 16 southbound in Yarmouth and attempted a traffic stop.
