Former “Bachelor” contestant Sarah Trott has tied the knot with Grant Fisher in a splendid ceremony amidst the stunning backdrop of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. The couple exchanged vows on 25 August, marking the conclusion of a multi-day wedding celebration held at the enchanting Villa Cimbrone in Ravello.

Describing her wedding vision, Sarah Trott, 31, expressed her desire to create an ambiance that captured “timeless, romantic Italian summer.” This picturesque location, with its breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno, added a layer of magic to their special occasion. Trott noted that Ravello, a lesser-known gem, is even more beautiful in person than its social media representations suggest.
The couple curated an exclusive and intimate celebration, with only 44 guests in attendance, in stark contrast to typical large wedding gatherings. They reserved all 19 guest rooms at Villa Cimbrone, a historic property dating back to the 12th century, and even had the estate’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Flauto di Pan, and its gardens closed for the festivities. “We aimed for our wedding to feel like a private escape with those we love,” Trott explained.
The weeklong celebration was meticulously planned and included a variety of events to enhance the overall wedding experience. Highlights featured a formal welcome dinner held in a candlelit crypt, a playful day of sailing reflecting on Trott’s ‘something blue’, and a relaxed poolside cabana party inspired by Aperol spritz. The wedding concluded with a sunset farewell dinner in the villa’s lush gardens.
Trott shared that they wanted the atmosphere to be elegant yet comfortable, encouraging guests to embrace summer-inspired attire throughout the week. On the wedding day, attendees adhered to a black-tie dress code with a vibrant twist, donning classic tuxedos and bold, floor-length gowns. Trott herself donned a stunning dress designed by Netta BenShabu, with a second ensemble from Jaxon James Couture Bridal for the reception.
The wedding ceremony was held on the hotel’s scenic Terrace of Infinity, which offers sweeping views over a thousand feet high above the serene Mediterranean Sea. “Being surrounded by such beauty and history, with our closest family and friends, made it an emotional moment,” Trott reflected. The couple chose their friend Joe Rice, who mentored them through their church, to officiate the ceremony — a decision that held significant meaning for them.
Rice played a vital role during their engagement, leading them through a pre-marital mentorship programme that strengthened their relationship. Trott emphasised the importance of such courses, underscoring how valuable the experience was in preparing them for marriage.
For their reception, Trott and Fisher opted for an experience akin to a private concert, featuring a nine-piece live band with custom set lists and exciting performances, including a surprise rendition by Fisher himself of an AC/DC classic. “We went all out, embracing the showmanship that is part of who we are,” Trott remarked.
The couple began their love story at a charity gala in Arizona in 2022, and their relationship blossomed from there. After a whirlwind romance, Fisher proposed in November 2025, creating a joyful celebration with their families shortly thereafter.
As they embark on their married life, both Trott and Fisher are eager to continue nurturing their bond as best friends.
