Sagal affectionately described her daughter Esmé, who is now 19, stating, “This is Esmé, my sweet Esmé, who’s 19. She’s my favourite right now. Kids, I love you all,” highlighting her affection for all her children, including her older kids, Sarah Grace, 31, and Jackson, 30, from her previous marriage to Jack Cameron White.

In a candid discussion, Sagal addressed the queries from her children about her decision to continue acting at this stage in her life. “Their only question to me is, ‘Mom, you’ve been working for so many years, why don’t you just chill for a while?’” Sagal explained. Yet, she expressed that working is her way of unwinding: “I like to work. That is chill for me. I don’t like all the downtime. And I don’t really know what else I would do.”

Moreover, she noted that her children take pride in her career accomplishments and are the first people she shares good news with. “They’re really proud,” Sagal said, demonstrating the supportive relationship she maintains with her kids regarding her work in the entertainment industry.
