Marcille discussed her decision to return to the pixie hairstyle in an interview on CBS Mornings, aired on July 9. Emphasising the significance of a hair transformation for women, she stated, “You know, hair transformation is a big deal for a man or a woman but especially for a woman.” She expressed a desire for change, explaining that going back to where she began was an important reminder of her journey.
In sharing the story behind her bold new look, Marcille described cutting off her hair as a cathartic process. “It’s something about going back to where you began to remind you about where you’re going. And cutting it all off, baring it all,” she explained.
