A 27-year-old man from Virginia has been charged with multiple offences, including four counts of second-degree murder, in relation to a tragic car crash that claimed the lives of four family members in Oakland County, Michigan. Charles Dean Pace, whose home is in Glen Allen, Virginia, was arrested following the incident on July 1, 2023, and has since been held without bail at the Oakland County Jail.

According to local prosecutors, Pace was operating a Ford F-250 truck southbound on Interstate 75 when the fatal crash occurred.
