The Pussycat Dolls have announced a significant change in their touring plans, revealing that the North American leg of their reunion tour has been largely cancelled. In a statement shared on social media, the trio—made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts—expressed their heartfelt gratitude to fans for their enduring support and patience.

The pop group, known for hits such as “Buttons” and “Don’t Cha,” stated that they have made the “difficult and heartbreaking decision” to cancel all performances in North America except for one. This remaining show is set to take place at the OUTLOUD Music Festival during the WeHo Pride celebrations on June 6. In their announcement, the group highlighted the importance of this festival, stating, “The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honoured to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music, and chosen family.”

Originally, the Pussycat Dolls were scheduled to tour the United States from June to August as part of their PCD FOREVER Tour. However, after reflecting on their North American plans, the group decided that it would be best to scale back. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster and AXS will receive automatic refunds, ensuring that they are not left out of pocket due to the cancellations.
Despite the cancellations in North America, the band has confirmed an upcoming tour across the UK and Europe during September and October. The Pussycat Dolls expressed excitement over the positive response they have received, with several shows already selling out. “We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories,” they stated, demonstrating their commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience for both longtime fans and new listeners.
This reunion tour was initially announced in March, when the Dolls shared new tour dates and released their latest single, “Club Song.” However, the absence of founding members Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton from the current lineup has stirred some controversy. Bachar, in particular, expressed her disappointment, stating she was not involved in discussions regarding the group’s future and learned about the reunion alongside the public. “I would have appreciated direct communication,” she wrote.
Sutta also took to social media to share her feelings, revealing that she had only received word of the revival a day prior to the announcement. She pointed out ongoing health issues that would prevent her from returning to the stage, claiming that the abrupt news had been difficult for her to process.
In an interview on the Today show, Scherzinger, Wyatt, and Roberts addressed the changes in the group’s lineup. “It has been an ever-changing lineup and this is what it looks like now,” Wyatt commented, acknowledging the group’s complex history. She emphasised the importance of maintaining peace within the group, especially after past ruptures in their relationships. Scherzinger reiterated the sentiment, expressing admiration for all women who have been part of the Pussycat Dolls legacy.
With plans firmly in place for the forthcoming UK and European tour, the Pussycat Dolls are set on delivering a show that reflects their artistic vision and resonates with fans. As they gear up for their performances later this year, the group is dedicated to creating an experience that is both nostalgic and celebratory. The forthcoming shows are anticipated to provide an opportunity for fans to engage with the band’s music and legacy, adding an exciting new chapter to the Pussycat Dolls’ story.
