Tragic Loss of Three Teens in Florida Car Crash

Three students from Horizon Christian Academy in Georgia have been identified as victims of a fatal car accident that occurred in Florida during their spring break. The deceased individuals were named as Jackson Mobley, 18, Jaylyn Fehr, 17, and Charlotte Martin, 16. A fourth student, Jackson’s sister Jamison Mobley, aged 17, survived the incident and is currently in recovery.
The collision took place on April 6 while the four teenagers were en route to St. George Island, where they intended to visit friends and family during their holiday. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, their vehicle veered off the road, struck a tree, and subsequently caught fire. The sheriff’s office confirmed that three of the teens died at the scene, while Jamison was airlifted to a local hospital for medical treatment.
All three deceased students shared a strong bond, being not only classmates but also beloved members of their school and community. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office issued a heartfelt statement, acknowledging their character and contributions. “Jackson, Jaylyn, and Charlotte were wonderful young individuals and students who were deeply loved by their families, friends, classmates, teammates, teachers, and church communities,” the statement said. “They were talented athletes, exceptional students, and above all, kind-hearted individuals whose lives touched many.”

Charlotte Martin was similarly remembered as a vibrant individual whose spirit brought joy to those around her. Her family and friends described her as “like a ray of sunshine, always smiling and always friendly.” Horizon Christian Academy further recognised her values: “While her achievements were many, what defined Charlotte most was her faith, her kindness, and the way she loved others.”
