The site abuts Topgolf Orlando, located just a couple of miles from the Epic Universe park, making it an attractive option for various developments. In November 2025, Alyson Sologaistoa, Vice President of Public Relations at Universal Orlando Resort, emphasised in a statement the anticipation surrounding updates to Epic Universe. “We are preparing for some exciting additions to Epic Universe in the future,” she remarked. “Details about specific developments will be shared in due time.”
Epic Universe marked a significant milestone when it opened, as the first new major theme park in Florida in over twenty years. The park currently boasts five themed lands, including attractions based on the Wizarding World, How to Train Your Dragon, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park. The park’s genesis has reinvigorated the theme park landscape in Orlando, drawing in visitors from across the globe.
In light of the ongoing developments, Mark Woodbury, CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, previously indicated in September 2025 that there are substantial plans for future expansions. “If you fly over Epic Universe or look on Google Earth, you’ll see how we planned the park,” he explained. “There’s greenfield space between the existing worlds that is strategically positioned to give us flexibility to expand.”
Woodbury also mentioned that multiple attractions are in the works, not just for Epic Universe but across the entire Universal brand. He assured fans that a comprehensive and long-term strategy is in place, looking ahead over the next decade for product offerings both in Orlando and globally.
