An investigation has been launched following a video posted online by musician Kid Rock, which appears to show a U.S. Army Apache helicopter flying at a low altitude near his home in Tennessee. In the videos shared on X, previously known as Twitter, Kid Rock can be seen applauding and saluting the helicopter as it hovers above his outdoor pool before jetting off into the distance.

According to a spokesperson for the 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell in Kentucky, two AH-64 Apache helicopters were on a training mission in the Nashville area on Saturday, March 28. The spokesperson clarified that their flight was purely coincidental to the protests occurring in the region that day, known as the No Kings protests.
The military unit stated, “The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell maintain strict standards for aviation safety, professionalism, and adherence to established flight regulations.” This remark came in response to concerns raised about the helicopter’s activities near residential areas.
