Comedian Gary Owen and Brianna Johnson exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony on Saturday, 7 March in Houston, Texas. The celebration, marked by its stylish black-and-white theme, took place at the upscale Four Seasons Hotel and attracted a host of high-profile guests.

The wedding, which aimed to be both dramatic and fun, reflected the couple’s desire for a lively event that broke from traditional formats. Owen described their vision for the day, stating, “We intentionally steered away from a traditional, overly formal ceremony format, wanting the entire experience to feel lively and celebratory from beginning to end.”
A significant feature of the grand celebration was the presence of Owen’s friends from the movie industry, particularly his co-stars from the films *Think Like a Man* and *Think Like a Man Too*. Among the groomsmen were the likes of Terrence J, Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy, and director Will Packer. The weekend kicked off with a perfectly orchestrated rehearsal dinner that took place on 6 March. The couple shared an intimate meal with their wedding party and immediate family, hosted at a beautifully arranged long mirrored table, illuminated by soft candlelight and surrounded by deep navy velvet drapery. Johnson had her 92-year-old grandmother serve as the unconventional “flower gram,” a choice meant to honour her family ties.
As for the bride, she donned a striking mermaid gown by Galia Lahav, which dazzled under the candlelight. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, with Johnson articulating the significance of marriage. “For me, marriage represents a lifelong commitment to grow together, support one another, and share every chapter side by side,” she shared.

As their wedding drew to a close, Owen reflected on the depth of his relationship with Johnson. “I admire Bri because she protects me and us… If you see me, you see her,” he remarked, emphasizing the partnership they have cultivated.
Although Owen humorously noted that their “life is a honeymoon,” the couple plans to continue celebrations later in the summer following Owen’s tour commitments.
