Cleveland police have launched an investigation following the grim discovery of two bodies in suitcases at a local park. The discovery was made by a dog walker around 6 p.m. on Monday, March 2, prompting an immediate police response.

During a press conference conducted the following day, Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd outlined the circumstances surrounding the discovery. The caller, a resident walking his dog, stumbled upon what looked like a body within a suitcase located in a field near East 162 in Midland, close to a school.
