Reality TV star Porsha Williams has broken her silence after a recent incident on a Delta Airlines flight, accompanied by law enforcement. She was notably seen disembarking the plane at the Las Vegas airport, following a disturbing encounter with another passenger. Joe Habachy, Williams’ lawyer, revealed in a statement to PEOPLE that the Real Housewives of Atlanta personality was subjected to a “verbal assault by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation” during the flight.
Habachy further elaborated that the other passenger went on to make false accusations about Williams, despite contradictory statements from multiple witnesses on board. Due to the incident occurring on an aircraft, federal authorities are obligated to commence an investigation involving all parties involved, to ascertain any potential offenses. Williams has expressed her full cooperation with law enforcement and is optimistic that the passenger responsible for the altercation will face charges.
The event unfolded following Williams’ attendance at BravoCon in Las Vegas over the preceding weekend. The 44-year-old TV star was later spotted being escorted off the Delta Airlines flight upon arrival in Las Vegas. Subsequently, news emerged that the FBI in Atlanta was initiating an investigation into the matter. It was reported that the bureau was looking into the possibility of federal charges in connection with the incident.
A representative from FBI Atlanta disclosed to TMZ that they were aware of an incident on the Delta flight on November 16th, purportedly involving Porsha Williams and at least one other individual. Additionally, a spokesperson for Delta informed TMZ that two passengers were embroiled in the altercation, and the flight continued as scheduled until landing in Atlanta.
Williams, who recently finalised her divorce from Simon Guobadia, took to Instagram to share her reflections on the weekend following BravoCon.
