Doherty was booked on three charges, including possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine), possession of a small amount of cannabis, and resisting arrest. Despite this serious incident, there has been no immediate response from either Doherty’s representative or the Miami Police Department (MPD), when reached out to for comment.

Prior to his arrest, Doherty had been active on social media, sharing moments from his life on a yacht via Instagram Stories and promoting livestreams on the app Parti. His online presence, spanning YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, has garnered him a massive following for his daring and humorous content, which has contributed to his influencer status.

One particular incident that had made headlines in October 2024 involved Doherty crashing his $200,000 McLaren sports car while livestreaming the event. The video of the crash captured Doherty glancing at his phone in heavy rain, leading to the loss of control of his vehicle and a subsequent collision with a metal barrier. At the time, more than 185,000 viewers were watching his livestream, which was deleted post the accident.

Following his arrest in 2025, Doherty’s bond for the charges was set at $3,500, and this amount has since been submitted based on public records.
