Bre Tiesi Rejects Idea of Nick Cannon Appearing on ‘Selling Sunset’

Bre Tiesi recently shared her firm stance on not allowing Nick Cannon to make an appearance on the popular reality show ‘Selling Sunset.’ Their relationship has been a hot topic on the Netflix series since her introduction in season 6. According to Tiesi, 45-year-old Cannon, with whom she shares a 3-year-old son named Legendary Love, does not feature in Season 9 of ‘Selling Sunset’, which was released on October 29.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Tiesi expressed her unwillingness to have Cannon on the show, stating, “I would never subject [Nick] to that. I will never subject him to a show that did not show him an ounce of respect or grace.” Despite Cannon’s willingness to appear, Tiesi remains resolute in her decision, saying, “I don’t care if they said they’d give him $100 million. I would say, ‘Not a f—— chance in hell.’ I definitely hold a grudge, so I would never subject him to that.”
Tiesi highlighted that Cannon’s willingness to support her decision is a testament to his character, even though she remains unwavering in her refusal. She mentioned, “The crazy part is that he would do it. He would be nice enough to do it if that’s what I wanted. That’s what I love about him. But it’s a hard no for me, because they have tried.” (Netflix declined to comment on the matter.)
Addressing the portrayal of her personal life on the show, Tiesi previously acknowledged that it had been dramatised but is now gradually becoming more comfortable showcasing her real-life situations, especially those that spark controversy. In the latest season of ‘Selling Sunset’, Tiesi shared that her relationship with Cannon is thriving, and she has no complaints about it.
Despite facing criticism, particularly from co-star Chelsea Lazkani, over her relationship with Cannon, Tiesi remains content and satisfied with their bond. The ongoing feud between Tiesi and Lazkani began in season 6, where Lazkani voiced disapproval towards Cannon, labelling him a ‘master manipulator’. Lazkani’s comments stirred tension between the two women regarding their differing perspectives on relationships and family dynamics.
During a podcast appearance in December 2024, Tiesi emphasised that her unconventional relationship with Cannon is the healthiest one she has experienced. She clarified that they are not co-parenting but are actively involved in a committed relationship, debunking any misconception about their status. Tiesi’s contentment in her partnership with Cannon shines through despite external scrutiny.
