House Committee Calls for Ex-Prince Andrew’s Testimony on Ties to Jeffrey Epstein

A House Oversight Committee made up of Democrats has formally requested that ex-Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, provide testimony regarding his connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein. The committee members have urged Andrew to answer their questions as part of their ongoing investigation into the Epstein case.
The committee’s ranking member, Rep. Robert Garcia, emphasised the importance of holding powerful individuals accountable for their actions, stating, “Rich and powerful men have evaded justice for far too long. Now, former Prince Andrew has the opportunity to come clean and provide justice for the survivors.” The committee is committed to seeking transparency and accountability for the victims of Epstein and his collaborators.
Andrew’s association with Epstein led to him being stripped of his royal titles by his brother, King Charles. Epstein faced federal charges of sex trafficking before his death in a New York City jail in 2019. The committee’s letter to Andrew highlighted their interest in his friendship with Epstein, which reportedly began in 1999 and continued even after Epstein’s conviction in 2008.
