This grim discovery was followed by two more in other Connecticut towns – Norwalk and New Haven – where the bodies of two women, Paige Fannon and Denise Leary, were found.

Paige Fannon, a 35-year-old from West Islip, N.Y., was discovered in the Norwalk River near an abandoned bridge, while Denise Leary, a 59-year-old mother of two, was found in New Haven, 40 minutes away from Norwalk. The mystery deepened when another woman, Michele Romano, 56, was found dead in the woods in Foster, Rhode Island. Her death has been deemed suspicious, with authorities still investigating the circumstances surrounding her demise.

Amidst these grim discoveries, law enforcement officials in Killingly, Connecticut, uncovered more human remains on April 9. The authorities have not yet identified the victim and maintain that the investigation is ongoing, with no concrete connections established between the various cases. They have reassured the public that there is currently no known threat to their safety, but the community remains on edge as the investigations continue.
