Man Pretends to have a Seizure as Partner Steals Puppies from Pet Store

A shocking incident unfolded at a pet store in Centennial, Colorado when four individuals collaborated in stealing two English Bulldog puppies from Perfect Pets on Sunday, Feb. 23. As per reports, Timothy Davis, 37, has been apprehended and is now facing charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, theft, and drug possession. The search for the other three suspects is still ongoing. This robbery marks the third time Perfect Pets has been targeted recently, causing distress to the store and its employees.
The intricate plan involved three men entering Perfect Pets around 1:30 p.m. local time and swiftly making their move to snatch the pricey English Bulldog puppies, each valued at $4,299. The suspects orchestrated a distraction by feigning a medical emergency, with one pretending to have a seizure while another swiftly grabbed the puppies from their enclosure. Despite attempts to intervene, the suspects managed to escape with the dogs before fleeing in a gold Cadillac Escalade driven by an unidentified fourth suspect, believed to be female.
Timothy Davis, the man who faked the seizure, was promptly apprehended by sheriff’s deputies at the scene. He now faces serious charges related to the crime. The remaining three suspects, described as a black male wearing a black coat and sweatpants, and a white or Hispanic male in a blue and white beanie-style hat, are still at large. The Perfect Pets employee spoke of the overwhelming support from the public in the wake of the incident.
The owner of Perfect Pets, Jens Larsen, has announced a reward of $1,000 for each returned dog in hopes of retrieving the stolen puppies. This troubling incident occurred amidst a series of attempted dog thefts at the store, including a recent incident involving two women who tried to sneak out with puppies concealed in their strollers. The store employee recalls a particularly tense moment when a boxer was nearly stolen, highlighting the challenging month Perfect Pets has endured.
