The lavish wedding ceremony was attended by 190 guests and exuded a classic vibe at the Metropolitan Club, situated on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The couple also had an intimate ceremony the day before at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Jessica’s childhood neighbourhood. Markowski expressed her deep love for New York City and how getting married across from Central Park fulfilled her lifelong dream. She described the experience as a fairy tale come true for her.

Markowski stunned in a Galia Lahav gown named “Lilith” as she walked down the aisle to the melodious tunes of “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey, performed by a talented violinist. The dress featured intricate 3D crystal embellished lace, geometric cutouts, and floral-embroidered sleeves, creating a daring and unique look tailored to her body. With her hair and makeup expertly done by Senada K. Ceka and Drita Paljevic, Markowski radiated elegance and beauty on her special day.
In an interview, Weisburd shared his admiration for Markowski’s close-knit family dynamics, which resonated with his own background. He emphasised their strong bond and shared activities, indicating their deep friendship and compatibility. The couple’s wedding ceremony incorporated traditional Jewish elements like the chuppah and ketubah, adding a meaningful touch to their union. Guests were entertained by the heartfelt and personally written vows exchanged by the bride and groom.
Following their ceremony, Markowski and Weisburd made a grand entrance at the reception and enjoyed their first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me.” The reception aesthetic was described as elegant and timeless, with an all-white colour scheme accented by gold touches for a cohesive and refined look. Guests indulged in a sumptuous three-course meal, including options like char-grilled black angus filet mignon and Chilean sea bass, followed by a custom-designed wedding cake for dessert.
To end the night on a fun note, Markowski changed into an Oscar de la Renta dress for the after-party and surprised guests with a McDonald’s late-night snack, overlooking Central Park. The wedding was meticulously planned by Kristin Buonaiuto with Eventful Days, ensuring that every detail of the event was flawlessly executed. The couple is set to embark on their honeymoon in the Maldives, cherishing the beginning of their new life together.
Markowski and Weisburd’s relationship blossomed after meeting in Miami during the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually leading to a heartwarming proposal in Monaco. They are excited about the future and shared their eagerness to start a family soon, alongside their furry companion Romeo. With a focus on their careers and upcoming projects, the couple looks forward to the next chapter of their lives together.
