**Arizona Twins Arrested in Sex Trafficking Sting**

Two twin brothers from Arizona, Teontrae and Tentraveon Cowan, both aged 23, have been apprehended as part of a police operation targeting underage prostitution. The arrests took place on September 24 in Goodyear, where the brothers are accused of attempting to recruit a young woman they believed to be 17 into a prostitution ring.
According to Maricopa County court documents, the Cowan brothers communicated with an undercover officer via a social media platform, believing they were interacting with a minor already involved in prostitution. Allegedly, during their communications on September 23 and the day following, the twins promised the girl that she would be treated like “royalty” if she complied with their demands.
The court filings reveal that the Cowan brothers sought an upfront fee of $2,000, which they requested via Cash App, and anticipated that the girl could potentially earn around $1,500 each night. They also offered to provide her with necessities such as food, clothing, and accommodation, while informing her that she would not be allowed to keep any of her earnings.
In a planned meeting, the twins arranged to meet the alleged victim at a dog park in Goodyear. Surveillance teams monitored their movements as they departed from a residence in Avondale, driving a silver Dodge Charger to the designated location.
Law enforcement officials arrested the brothers at the park without incident. Following his arrest, Teontrae reportedly confessed to the investigators that he and his brother had indeed messaged the account and expressed intentions to support the girl in “getting a better life” while retaining her earnings.
In an additional revelation, Teontrae mentioned that he had previously been involved in similar activities with another young woman in California. Interestingly, he also disclosed that he earned an income through livestreaming on TikTok, claiming to make as much as £4,000 per month.
Tentraveon, on the other hand, did not provide a statement to investigators during the arrest. Both brothers have now been booked into the Maricopa County Jail, where a judge set bail at £19,000 cash-only for each of them. Furthermore, if released, they must refrain from contacting minors and are prohibited from accessing the internet.
Their first court appearance is scheduled for October 5, where they will face multiple charges including child sex trafficking, receiving earnings from prostitution, and enticing individuals to engage in prostitution.
The arrest of the Cowan brothers highlights a continuing concern regarding human trafficking and the exploitation of minors in the United States.
