In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Harry Hamlin expressed immense pride in his daughters, Amelia and Delilah, both of whom have carved out successful careers in the modelling industry. The 74-year-old actor highlighted their independence, noting that neither of the sisters has sought assistance from their parents in navigating the complexities of their careers.

Harry Hamlin, who shares Delilah, 27, and Amelia, 24, with his wife Lisa Rinna, praised his daughters for taking initiative in their professional pursuits. Speaking at the Gotham Ball in New York City on 14 May, he remarked, “I’m so proud of my kids. They did this on their own.” According to him, the sisters’ determination to excel has been remarkable, as he noted, “We never said, ‘You should do this, you might do this,’ whatever. They decided to pursue their careers on their own, and they never asked us for any help.”

Although Harry acknowledged that he had provided some guidance, he pointed out that the sisters had not specifically asked for it. He stated, “They’re on their own now, which is amazing. And when your kids stop asking for money, that’s a good moment in your life.”

Reflecting on their love, he said, “We took this little window of time, and we went back to a place we’d been to 32 years ago.”

The couple’s commitment to each other has not wavered over three decades, and Harry shared that they had not enjoyed a vacation alone together for 32 years due to their parental responsibilities. “We hadn’t gone on a trip together, just the two of us, in 32 years because we had kids, and we always went with them,” he explained.
