Among the other exotic animals owned by Jackson was an albino Burmese python named Madonna. After Jackson’s departure from Neverland Ranch, Madonna was transferred to a rescue facility in Montrose, Colorado. By March 2018, she found a new home at the Children’s Nature Center located in Grand Junction, Colorado, and has since been renamed Sunshine.
Jackson also had an elephant named Ali, who was moved to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens following the closure of Neverland Ranch. As of March 2024, it was reported that Ali underwent a complex tusk removal surgery, highlighting the zoo’s commitment to her care. The flamingos at Neverland Ranch also had to be relocated, with thirteen Chilean flamingos being sent to the Cape May County Park & Zoo in 2007.
