In a celebration marked by love and joy, New York Jets centre Josh Myers and his bride, Erika Nowak, embraced their new life together on March 21, in a stunning wedding held at The Waters Oshkosh in Wisconsin. The couple exchanged vows in front of 130 guests, including several NFL teammates, in a ceremony described as “timeless, classic, and refined.”

The picturesque venue, located alongside Lake Winnebago, offered breathtaking views, elegant design, and exquisite crystal chandeliers. With its soft colour palette featuring ivory florals and warm candlelight, The Waters perfectly complemented the couple’s vision for their special day. However, it was the venue’s proximity to Green Bay, where their relationship blossomed, that drew them to the location. “We both feel a sense of connection to the area,” Nowak noted, recalling her roots in Green Bay and Myers’ early career with the Green Bay Packers.
Josh Myers and Erika Nowak first crossed paths online, ultimately meeting up for their first date at a paint-and-sip class, which had been highly endorsed by mutual friends. Describing their relationship as “basically inseparable,” the pair cherished their close bond. Their engagement came in March 2025 during a family getaway to Islamorada, Florida, where Myers proposed on a beach at sunset, presenting Nowak with a ring designed by her friend, Alyssa Jones.
The couple shared heartfelt handwritten vows during a private first look before reading traditional vows at their altar. As they lit a unity candle, they emphasised the importance of spending the day together, fully present in the moment, and surrounded by loved ones. “What mattered most to us was being able to spend the entire day by each other’s side,” they expressed.
Guests enjoyed a striking musical journey as Myers and the wedding party made their entrance to the Barrymoore Chamber Orchestra’s rendition of “Canon in D,” followed by a transition to “God Really Knew” for Nowak’s entrance. The couple’s attire perfectly aligned with the event’s sophistication. Myers donned a bespoke black tuxedo for the ceremony, later switching to an ivory jacket for the reception, while Nowak wowed in a structured strapless gown by Jenny Yoo, complete with opera-length gloves and a stunning cathedral veil.
Among the 130 attendees were notable NFL personalities, including Joe Tippmann from the Jets, Cole Van Lanen of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and coaches and trainers from the Green Bay Packers. The couple took a moment to remember their late fathers, reserving chairs in their honour during the ceremony, which was officiated by their pastor, Charlie McMahan from SouthBrook Christian Church in Miamisburg, Ohio.
After the vows were exchanged, the celebration continued with a selection of culinary delights served to guests, including cabernet braised beef short rib, pan-seared Atlantic salmon, and chicken cordon bleu. In a nod to Wisconsin traditions, mini bratwurst and sliders were available as late-night snacks. Dessert featured a beautiful four-tiered wedding cake made by Sweet Jules Bakes, which was layered with raspberry preserves and buttercream.
As the night unfolded, the couple shared their first dance to “I Get to Love You” by Rosevelt, surrounded by family and friends in heartfelt celebration. Following their joyous event, Myers and Nowak set their sights on a honeymoon in Saint Lucia before returning to New Jersey for the Jets’ organised team activities.
As they embark on this new chapter together, the couple reflected on their future aspirations. “We are incredibly excited to continue loving each other every day and to build a family together,” they shared. “We can’t wait to be a shining example of true love for our future children.”
