Initially listed in December 2025 for £21 million, the asking price has subsequently been adjusted to attract potential buyers, now sitting at £19,995,000. The large portrait, creatively positioned above the mantel and fireplace in the expansive living room, is the work of contemporary artist Brendan O’Connell. The concept for the painting was inspired by a paparazzi photograph of Hilaria captured at a bodega in New York’s West Village, their primary residence. The depiction is notably set against a backdrop of Rice-A-Roni, a boxed food product that holds a special significance for the couple.
In an interview discussing the artwork, Hilaria expressed her mixed feelings about the oversized portrayal, stating, “I have to admit that I’m extraordinarily embarrassed that there is a gigantic painting of me in this room. It’s like, ‘Welcome to my living room. Here is a painting of me.’” She mentioned that Alec, 67, was instrumental in both the idea and placement of the painting, hinting at his affection for Rice-A-Roni, even light-heartedly questioning his actual consumption of the product.
Originally acquired by Alec Baldwin for £1.75 million in 1995, the couple’s home has undergone significant transformations over the years. Although initially doubtful about the location, Alec described how he grew to appreciate the area. He later expanded the property in 1996, adding a large swimming pool. Following their marriage in 2012, further renovations included the addition of 1,400 square feet to the home’s living space.
