In a recent announcement, it was revealed that Simtec Systems GmbH, a renowned leader in motion simulation and ride design, will be joining forces with the project. Mark Advent, co-founder of Advent Allen and a prominent figure in the casino and hotel industries, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership. The addition of Simtec Systems to the team is expected to elevate the Top Gun Las Vegas experience to new heights. The project aims to push boundaries and captivate visitors from around the world with its cutting-edge entertainment offering.
While many details about the upcoming Top Gun attraction remain under wraps, the visionaries behind this venture are already looking ahead to a second flagship location in Orlando, Florida. Bill Allen, co-founder of Advent Allen and former CEO of Bloomin’ Brands, voiced his confidence in the future of this collaboration with Paramount Pictures. The team is committed to taking the Top Gun experience to greater heights, promising an unparalleled entertainment experience for all thrill-seekers.
The history of Top Gun-themed rides dates back to 1993 when a roller coaster named Top Gun debuted at California’s Great America theme park. Initially themed after the Navy’s prestigious aviator school, the ride was later rebranded as Flight Deck when the park changed ownership. Despite the transition, the naval theming of the attraction remained intact, allowing visitors to continue enjoying the exhilarating experience it offered.
As the anticipation builds for the unveiling of the Top Gun thrill ride in Las Vegas, fans of the iconic movie franchise can look forward to a one-of-a-kind experience that pays homage to the high-flying action of the films. The immersive nature of the attraction, coupled with innovative technology and design, promises to transport guests into the heart of the Top Gun universe. With the backing of Paramount Pictures and the expertise of industry leaders, the Top Gun ride is poised to become a must-visit destination for both fans and thrill-seekers alike.
