Two passengers who are active on the live streaming platform Kick were reportedly thrown off a Royal Caribbean cruise following a physical confrontation. The incident took place on the Harmony of the Seas ship during its stop at Roatan Island in Honduras on November 5th. Another streamer aboard stated that the cruise line expelled all streamers in the group to prevent further potential conflicts.

The Kick streamers involved in the incident were identified as David Ryan and Dave Willis. They were part of a seven-day Western Caribbean journey on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas, orchestrated by the streamer Ice Poseidon, whose real name is Paul Denino. The cruise set sail from Galveston, Texas on November 2nd with pit stops at Roatan Island, Costa Maya, Cozumel in Mexico, before returning to Galveston on November 9th.
Both Ryan and Willis were reportedly apprehended by security after their altercation and were disembarked from the ship during the Roatan Island stop on November 5th. Denino claimed that Royal Caribbean asked all remaining streamers to leave the ship the following day. He condemned fighting on cruises as irresponsible and mentioned the cruise line’s intention to avoid further turmoil.
In a video titled “Kicked Off Cruise No Justice” shared on Kick, Denino explained that he was summoned to security and instructed to disembark due to complaints of filming around other passengers without consent. The cruise line, Royal Caribbean, did not provide an immediate response to queries from PEOPLE regarding the incident.
Ryan addressed the situation in a video titled “Lost in Honduras,” expressing regret for the fight that led to his removal from the cruise. Willis also shared his experience post-incident in a video on his Kick, revealing that they were left in Honduras after being asked to leave the ship by Royal Caribbean following the altercation.
Footage circulating on Reddit depicts the altercation between Ryan and Willis, showing physical altercations and bystanders urging them to cease the fight. Observers in the comments highlighted the inappropriateness of the behaviour, particularly on a family-oriented cruise line like Royal Caribbean.
The company’s website emphasises its zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate or aggressive conduct, including uninvited physical contact, which can result in immediate removal from the ship. The aftermath of the incident underscores the importance of maintaining decorum and respect while onboard cruise ships to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
Royal Caribbean’s response to the incident highlights the significance of upholding behavioural standards to preserve the comfort and security of all guests onboard their cruises. This event serves as a reminder of the consequences of disruptive behaviour while travelling and the importance of adhering to guidelines to maintain a pleasant and harmonious environment for all passengers.
