In his conversation with Esquire’s editor-in-chief Michael Sebastian, McGraw stated, “I didn’t perform at her wedding. That was a rumour. The internet’s not always correct.” The 59-year-old singer highlighted that while he and Hill were enthusiastic attendees, they did not participate in the musical festivities.

Swift, 36, has cultivated a close bond with the McGraw family, according to the country star. He expressed admiration for her extraordinary talent, noting her ability to resonate with diverse audiences through her songwriting. Since the release of her debut single “Tim McGraw” in 2006, Swift has forged a supportive friendship with McGraw and Hill, who have served as mentors throughout her burgeoning career. Their relationship has flourished over the years, allowing them to collaborate on-stage multiple times.

“Taylor’s always been close to our family and our girls,” McGraw shared, reminiscing about their connections. He mentioned spending time together and emphasised, “She’s been to our house and hung out with our girls. And, I mean, she’s a special person and one of the most talented people I’ve ever met… I couldn’t be more proud of her.”
In addition to expressing joy over Swift’s relationship with Kelce, he praised the NFL star, saying, “We couldn’t be happier for her to find Travis, who’s a cool guy as well.” This sentiment echoes the heartfelt support both McGraw and Hill have shown toward Swift since the early days of her career.
McGraw is not the only celebrity to weigh in on the festivities of Swift and Kelce’s wedding. Several prominent stars reportedly performed during the event, with legends such as Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks taking the stage. Kelce, 37, also showcased his musical talents, adding to the celebrations.
Other attendees, including Nelly and Ashanti, spoke about their experiences at the wedding. During an appearance on Good Day New York, both artists described the ceremony as “amazing,” “beautiful,” and “so magical,” emphasising the enchanting atmosphere.
The nuptial celebration attracted a dazzling guest list, estimated to include around 1,000 individuals. Among the high-profile guests were industry titans and A-list celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone, Gigi Hadid, and Jennifer Lopez, to name just a few. The star-studded gathering highlighted the couple’s extensive network of friends and associates within the entertainment industry.
Notably, comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, adding a personal touch to the occasion. His presence was welcomed by the couple and their guests, further elevating the joyous atmosphere of the day.
