Television personality Chrishell Stause has announced her breakup with Australian musician G Flip after a relationship spanning more than four years. The split was disclosed on social media on Monday, 26 October, marking the end of a romance that often saw the couple navigating significant geographical distance.

As reported by PEOPLE, the extensive distance between Stause’s home in Los Angeles and G Flip’s base in Australia became a substantial hurdle in their relationship. A source close to Stause revealed that the couple had struggled with the challenges posed by their long-distance arrangement. The partnership involved considerable travel, which became increasingly difficult over time.
The insider noted, “The long flights, weeks without seeing each other, and the ongoing time difference took its toll.” While both partners had aspirations of starting a family, the source explained that neither was willing to make drastic changes to their lives for the other, further complicating their relationship dynamics.

Throughout their time together, Stause, 45, and G Flip, 33, celebrated multiple wedding ceremonies despite the fact that they never formalised their union legally. The couple’s connection appeared to thrive even as they faced the complexities of maintaining a relationship across continents.
During their respective announcements about the split, both Stause and G Flip expressed deep affection for one another. The insider added that there remains a possibility of reconciliation. “Chrishell and G Flip still very much love each other,” the source stated. “They haven’t ruled anything out regarding a future together, although it is challenging to envision a shared life when they were separated by an ocean.”

Following Stause’s emotional video post unveiling the news, G Flip shared their feelings about the separation. They described the situation as “very heavy” and revealed that it was they who initiated the breakup. “After more than four years, Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, and we will always share a special connection,” G Flip wrote. They further thanked their supporters for respecting the couple’s privacy during this challenging time.
Stause, in her heartfelt message, acknowledged her gratitude for the support fans have shown throughout their relationship. “I feel like a little bit of a failure,” she admitted as she fought back tears. “This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us.” Her candid approach resonated with her followers, as she expressed her ongoing affection for G Flip and the painful nature of the separation.
The couple first crossed paths on Halloween in 2021 when Stause was still romantically involved with her then-co-star Jason Oppenheim. Less than a year after Stause’s breakup with Oppenheim, she publicly revealed her relationship with G Flip during a reunion episode of “Selling Sunset” in May 2022.
Their journey saw milestones such as a surprise wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023. This was followed by multiple symbolic celebrations that celebrated their love, despite not being legally recognised. However, the realities of keeping such a relationship alive across long distances proved to be insurmountable.
As both Stause and G Flip move forward separately, their statements leave a door open for eventual reconciliation, indicating that while their romantic relationship may have ended, the care and love they hold for one another remains intact. Fans of both individuals will undoubtedly be watching closely to see how this chapter unfolds for each, especially given the public nature of their previous relationship and the emotional transparency they have both offered during this difficult time.
