Tori Spelling, best known for her role in the iconic series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’, is embracing the spirit of the season with her daughter, Stella McDermott. The pair were recently spotted at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, where they donned matching all-black outfits. Spelling, 53, took to social media to share the moment, capturing the joy of their mother-daughter outing amidst the spooky attractions. “October looks good on us,” she wrote, tagging her daughter in the post.

The actress shares Stella, along with four other children—Liam, Hattie, Finn, and Beau—with her ex-husband Dean McDermott. Following a relationship that began in 2006, the couple finalised their divorce in November 2023, though their focus remains firmly on co-parenting and spending quality time together as a family.
Their first child, Liam, arrived just a year after their wedding, followed by Stella in 2008. The family continued to grow with the addition of Hattie in 2011, Finn in 2012, and their youngest, Beau, in early 2017. Tori Spelling has previously remarked that Beau’s arrival provided them with a new perspective on their marriage.

Despite a difficult decision to part ways, Spelling recently expressed gratitude for her maintaining a respectful relationship with McDermott during their separation. “I watched families go through horror stories with the parents, and at the end of the day, you created beings because you had so much love between you,” she recounted at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. Her comments highlighted a strong desire to rise above the challenges often associated with divorce and to ensure their children remain unaffected by their split.

Spelling further explained that their coparenting dynamic has been largely positive, allowing them to continue enjoying family activities together. “We do family dinners, we do everything together, so it’s really good for the kids,” she said, reinforcing the importance of a unified front for their children’s sake.
On her podcast, “misSPELLING”, she described her experience as leaving with a “clean slate.” Spelling noted that neither party asked for anything from the other during their divorce process, fostering a spirit of cooperation that allows them to prioritise their children’s well-being. “We walked away as two complete parties that are just there to support, love, raise and set a great example,” she elaborated.
Spelling also reflected on the emotional aspect of divorce, lamenting that many couples struggle to maintain a positive relationship post-separation. “It makes me sad to think that so many marriages are not in a good place,” she remarked, highlighting the disparity between her own experience and the more negative narratives that often dominate discussions around divorce and family dynamics.
In her view, the breakdown of what many hope becomes a lifelong partnership can often leave families fractured. However, she feels fortunate that she and McDermott serve as an alternative model, demonstrating that it is possible to part ways amicably while continuing to create a nurturing environment for their children.
The public nature of Spelling’s life, coupled with her candidness about her experiences, allows her to be a role model for many who may be navigating similar challenges. As Tori Spelling continues to balance her career with motherhood, she remains committed to fostering a harmonious family life that centres on love, respect, and quality time together.
