In the emotional clip, Stause, aged 45, opened up about the breakup, saying, “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together.” She emphasised that both parties have agreed to handle their public separation with love and respect for one another. “That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person, and I don’t have all the information or the reasons,” she added, conveying her vulnerability during this difficult time.

The couple first confirmed their relationship in May 2022 during a reunion episode of “Selling Sunset,” just months after Stause’s breakup with her co-star Jason Oppenheim. Initially, their love story began on Halloween in 2021, when both Stause and G Flip were in other relationships. Since then, they celebrated their commitment publicly with multiple wedding ceremonies, including a surprise Las Vegas wedding in May 2023.

Reflecting on the end of their relationship, Stause expressed feelings of failure, stating, “I feel like a little bit of a failure. There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself.” In this raw moment, she acknowledged the pain of the breakup while also holding onto the hope that time would bring clarity and healing. “I know that will happen and I’m going to heal and everything’s going to be fine.”
Stause’s emotions were palpable as she continued to share her hopes for the future and her persistent love for G Flip. “I just have to kind of heal and figure this out. It’s hard. It’s painful.” She concluded her message with gratitude for their supporters, saying, “I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing.”
Despite the separation, a representative for G Flip has not yet provided comments regarding the situation. Meanwhile, Stause’s announcement has reignited discussions surrounding her past relationships, including her marriageto actor Justin Hartley, which ended abruptly in 2019, and her prior connections to Matthew Morrison and Keo Motsepe.
Throughout their relationship, Stause and G Flip were open about the challenges they faced, particularly when pursuing starting a family. The couple struggled with the emotional toll of in vitro fertilisation (IVF), which G Flip described as a “very grim” journey. They expressed their dedication to supporting one another through tough times, stating, “In the end, you’ve got to lean on each other and be there for each other.”
As their relationship progressed, G Flip expressed concerns about the impact of Stause’s role in “Selling Sunset,” which she was involved in for nine seasons. Following her emotional struggles with the show and the effects on her mental health, Stause made the decision to exit the series, acknowledging, “I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment.”
Stause’s career has remained active; she recently starred in the Lifetime film “A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story” in 2023, and her appearances in the Australian soap “Neighbours” earlier this year were well received. Meanwhile, G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flippo, has recently released their third studio album, “Dreamers,” and is currently touring Australia.
As fans come to terms with the news of Stause and G Flip’s separation, many are reflecting on the couple’s journey together. Their relationship, marked by love, creativity, and vulnerability, continues to resonate with their supporters, even as both now navigate this new chapter in their lives apart.
