In a recent appearance on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon*, television personality Andy Cohen clarified the misunderstanding surrounding a viral artificial intelligence-generated image of himself in a Speedo. During the episode aired on 19 October, Cohen firmly asserted that the image was not authentic, emphasising the absurdity of the situation.

As laughter filled the studio, Cohen addressed the audience, saying, “Okay ya’ll, that’s AI. That’s not me.” He humorously questioned the notion of him wearing a micro bikini, suggesting that the image had taken creative liberties that were far from reality. “Do you think that I’m going to wear a micro bikini, and with no genitalia whatsoever?” he quipped, prompting further laughter from the audience.

The comedic host of *Watch What Happens Live* acknowledged that numerous individuals had been sharing the doctored photo, praising him for his supposed good looks. “People are sending me this. They’re like, ‘Hey, looking good!’ I go, ‘Who do you think I am?’” he joked, reflecting on the humorous fallout of the viral image.
Cohen took the opportunity to set the record straight about his usual swimwear choices, stating that his preferences do not include Speedos. “First of all, you’ve seen me in swim trunks, which is what I wear,” he emphasised, reinforcing his fashion stance. “I don’t wear Speedos … I do not!”
However, Jimmy Fallon was quick to challenge Cohen’s assertion. He revealed a vintage photograph of Cohen wearing a colourful striped Speedo while mowing his lawn, creating a moment of amusement in the studio. Fallon held up the framed image and teased, “Well interesting because I actually found an old photo of you in a Speedo. This is real,” much to the delight of the audience.
Cohen’s reaction to the throwback image was light-hearted as he attempted to assert context. “Well hold on. That’s my mowing-the-lawn Speedo,” he clarified with a chuckle, providing a humorous glimpse into his past swimwear choices.
Aside from the viral photo discussion, Cohen also touched upon his relationship with boyfriend Kevin Sobieski during a separate segment on *Today with Jenna & Sheinelle*. When asked if he had felt a marriage proposal on the horizon, his response was cautiously optimistic. Although Cohen confirmed there had been no proposal thus far, he did not rule out the possibility of getting engaged in the near future.
When Jenna Bush Hager inquired whether he sensed a proposal was forthcoming, Cohen responded, “Do I feel it coming? Um, I feel like, look, I believe in love, baby!” Her enthusiastic suggestion to get ordained to officiate a wedding only added to the light-hearted banter, although Cohen jested, “I don’t think NBC News has the budget,” playfully returning attention to the show’s playful atmosphere.
As Cohen continues to entertain audiences with his candid personality and sharp wit, the recent AI photo incident serves as a reminder of the playful side of celebrity culture and social media. In sharing laughs over both the AI image and his vintage swimwear snapshot, Cohen remains a figure of charisma and light-heartedness in the entertainment industry.
