Graziadei first gained widespread attention during his time on the 20th season of The Bachelorette. He later became the 28th Bachelor, captivating audiences with his charm. Following his stint in reality TV, Graziadei demonstrated his versatility by winning the 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars. His recent cameo on the popular series 9-1-1, where he portrayed a version of himself amidst a chaotic scene at the Bachelor Mansion, hinted at his potential in acting.
In The Holiday Spark, Graziadei plays the role of Dean, a firefighter seeking to orchestrate an unforgettable holiday celebration for his firehouse. Joining him is Jamie Chung, an actress and former reality TV star from the 2004 season of The Real World: San Diego. Chung portrays Laura, a children’s book illustrator tasked with helping Dean realise his festive vision. Together, they navigate the challenges of planning a holiday party while exploring their budding romance.
Graziadei expressed his enthusiasm for the project in a recent interview, stating, “Getting to be part of a Christmas movie has been such a fun and special experience. We had the best time bringing this story to life, and I hope The Holiday Spark becomes one of those movies people look forward to watching every holiday season.”
The film’s trailer, exclusive to PEOPLE magazine, gives a sneak peek into the chemistry between Graziadei and Chung’s characters. In one scene, Laura confesses to her friend about a special feeling she senses after meeting Dean. Their playful banter continues as they plan a date to select a Christmas tree, where Laura finds herself smitten by Dean’s charm but slightly wary of his commitment.
Dean’s dedication to his job as a firefighter appears to complicate his budding relationship with Laura. During a dinner date, he appears distracted by sirens, hinting at the challenging balance between his profession and personal life. His internal conflict becomes evident when he shares his desires with a fellow firefighter, revealing a longing to commit to Laura while grappling with his responsibilities.
The romantic comedy’s narrative builds on themes of love and ambition, with Dean’s journey reflecting the struggle to prioritise personal connections over professional obligations. The film culminates in a warm moment shared by the two characters as they collaborate to light a fireplace, symbolising their growing relationship and the theme of igniting sparks of romance.
The official synopsis for The Holiday Spark describes it as a story about Dean, a perpetually single firefighter, who collaborates with Laura to create a memorable holiday experience. Throughout the process, both characters begin to question their perceptions of love and the possibility of finding it when they least expect it.
As anticipation builds for the film’s release, both Graziadei and Chung aim to capture the spirit of the holiday season, providing viewers with a story filled with romance, laughter, and the comforting warmth of Christmas.
The Holiday Spark is set to delight audiences with its blend of festive cheer and heartfelt storytelling, making it a must-watch for those looking to embrace the holiday spirit this year.
