Owen Wilson is set to return to the big screen alongside an impressive cast in the latest sequel of the beloved ‘Meet the Parents’ franchise. Titled *Focker-in-Law*, the film reunites Wilson with fellow actors Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, who he first starred alongside in the original 2000 movie. This exciting new chapter in the series is scheduled for release on 25 November.

Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of his other project, *Rolling Loud: The Movie*, on 30 September, Wilson expressed his enthusiasm for rejoining the franchise. “I think everybody was kind of excited to be reunited and to tell this latest installment of *Meet the Parents*,” he said. During the event, he looked ahead to the fourth film, highlighting how quickly the cast fell back into their roles.

In this sequel, Wilson reprises his role as Kevin Rawley, the former fiancé of Teri Polo’s character Pam Byrnes Focker. His presence continues to be a source of comedic tension for Pam’s current husband, played by Stiller. The film promises to reintroduce the hilarious family dynamics that fans have come to love, with Wilson noting that “everybody slipped right back in pretty easily” to their respective roles.
According to Wilson, the script crafted by John Hamburg features a number of humorous elements that will resonate with audiences. He described it as “really funny” and mentioned how watching the complicated relationship between De Niro’s character, Jack Byrnes, and Stiller’s Greg Focker never fails to entertain.
A notable addition to the cast is pop sensation Ariana Grande, who plays Olivia Jones—a potential new member of the Focker family. Olivia must navigate the rigorous tests, including the iconic lie detector scene familiar from the original film, in order to win over the family. This plot twist introduces fresh dynamics as the younger generation interacts with the established characters.
Wilson and Stiller’s camaraderie dates back to 1996, and their longstanding friendship has blossomed through multiple collaborations, including films such as *Zoolander*, *The Royal Tenenbaums*, and *Night at the Museum*. Their chemistry has become a defining feature of their performances, which fans eagerly anticipate in *Focker-in-Law*.
In addition to *Focker-in-Law*, Wilson stars in *Rolling Loud: The Movie*, where he plays a father who sneaks his son into a major hip-hop festival. Set for release on 2 October, the film also features comedian Matt Rife and artist Travis Scott. Reflecting on memories of his own first concert, Wilson recounted the impression the Rolling Stones made on him when he saw them in Dallas, illustrating his passion for music and performance.
Looking ahead, Wilson’s busy schedule includes the highly anticipated second season of Apple TV’s golf comedy series *Stick*, debuting on 4 November, and he is also involved in an upcoming comedy project by renowned filmmaker Nancy Meyers.
As the excitement builds for both *Rolling Loud: The Movie* and *Focker-in-Law*, fans can look forward to more laugh-out-loud moments with Wilson and the beloved cast. The return of the *Meet the Parents* franchise promises to delight audiences once again when the film hit theatres later this year.
