He noted that the initial connection between the band and the channel developed after they created a viral video pairing their song “Pyro” with a weather formation clip. “We saw what they did with our song immediately and thought it was beautiful,” he said, adding that hearing about the channel’s effort to integrate more music into their programming prompted Kings of Leon to reach out.
