A chilling criminal investigation is unfolding in Philadelphia as authorities probe the case of seven missing women linked to Eugene Horsch. A childhood friend, Jeremy Perry, has reached out to the media to recall his experiences growing up with Eugene, offering insight into the Horsch family’s peculiar household.
Eugene Horsch, who grew up in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, is currently under investigation after police discovered an astonishing volume of videos and photographs at his home. This collection reportedly includes images of seven women who have gone missing, with four of them appearing in the footage as “lifeless.” The shocking details emerged during a press conference held by the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD).

Jeremy Perry described his long-standing friendship with Eugene, which lasted from elementary school through their high school years. However, the relationship deteriorated as Eugene began to associate with less savoury individuals, leading to a gradual loss of contact. Reflecting on his earlier visits to the Horsch residence, Perry recalled peculiar features that now seem more suspicious in light of the ongoing investigation.
“One thing that stands out in my memory were the blue 55-gallon drums in the garage,” Perry shared. He noted that there were multiple drums, some of which were also stored in a shed at the back of the property. “In hindsight, it all seems a bit strange,” he added. In the past, Perry enjoyed spending time at the Horsch home, often visiting with Eugene’s father, Raymond Horsch, who owned a pizza restaurant in Doylestown.
The Horsch family home suffered a fire incident, but Raymond rebuilt it with a few distinctive elements that struck Perry as unusual. “They constructed a new basement with a large steel door,” he recounted, which only adds to the mystery now surrounding the residence. Unfortunately, after Eugene’s shift in social circles, Perry and Eugene lost touch, preventing him from learning more about the renovations.
The sequence of events that led to the investigation began when a federal park ranger approached Eugene and another woman for allegedly illegal parking near Independence Hall. During this interaction, the ranger discovered that the woman was in possession of identification belonging to one of the missing individuals, Blair Tonzelli, who was last seen in 2023. This prompted law enforcement to investigate further.
Following a search of their home, authorities seized an alarming array of items, including illegal drugs, firearms, false law enforcement credentials, and five urns containing cremated remains. Alongside the disturbing collection of videos and images, police are now tasked with identifying both the women and the potential circumstances surrounding their disappearances.
The catalogue of women linked to these findings includes Blair Tonzelli, Maribel Fresses, Gabrielle Amarando, Nicole Fusaro, and Amy McHale. Reports indicate that some of the footage features Fresses and Amarando appearing “unconscious and injured,” increasing concerns over their safety. In another troubling sequence, Fusaro was allegedly filmed in a compromising situation while restrained to a bed.
Despite the sheer volume of evidence, law enforcement has stated that no bodies have been recovered from the Horsch property. At this time, Eugene has not been charged with any crime concerning the missing persons, and through his legal representation, he has vehemently denied any claims linking him to their disappearances or suggestive evidence of homicide.
As investigators continue to sift through the multitude of media files, they have revealed that only about 30% has been viewed thus far, indicating a substantial amount of work ahead. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also involved, searching for connections and further insights into this unsettling case.
Public interest remains heightened, with local news outlets and broader media outlets covering the advances of the investigation extensively. The community in Chalfont is left grappling with the shocking revelations, and many are awaiting updates from authorities in hopes of clarifying the fate of the missing women.
As details unfold, the plight of those impacted by the missing cases echoes throughout various media channels. Individuals who may need support in relation to the sensitive issues connected to this case are encouraged to reach out to dedicated helplines, which remain available 24/7 to assist anyone in need.
As this investigation continues, the families of the missing women hold onto hope that answers will eventually surface, promising a resolution to a case that has profoundly shocked their community.
