Oscar-winning actor Ke Huy Quan is set to release his highly anticipated memoir, ‘Never Say Die’, on 15 September. The actor, who has captivated audiences with his heartfelt performances, shared insights about the book during an exclusive interview at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, on 14 August.

In an industry characterised by ambition and perseverance, Quan’s memoir serves as a testament to resilience. The actor’s remarkable journey began after his family fled from communist-ruled Northern Vietnam, eventually settling in Los Angeles’ Chinatown. ‘Never Say Die’ details his evolution in Hollywood, highlighting the trials and triumphs he has faced along the way.

Quan, who began his acting career at the tender age of 12, gained recognition for his role alongside Harrison Ford in the iconic 1984 film, *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom*. He further solidified his status as a young star with his performance in *The Goonies* in 1985. However, the highs of early fame were followed by challenging years, during which he found it difficult to secure acting roles. Ultimately, he transitioned to behind-the-scenes work, stepping back from the limelight.
