According to Capt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, their argument escalated when they pulled into the fast-food restaurant’s parking lot on Highway 92, near the interstate.
Authorities report that Johnson allegedly stabbed her mother at least ten times before the victim managed to flee into the restaurant seeking help. Emergency services were promptly called, and an officer from Acworth assisted the injured mother until an ambulance arrived. She was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries and has since been released.
