Also pictured were three pink envelopes addressed affectionately to “Mom,” “Momma,” and “My wife.”
Leavitt and Riccio, who have a notable age difference of 32 years, tied the knot in January 2025. The couple welcomed their first child, Nicholas “Niko,” in July 2024, followed by a daughter, Viviana “Vivi,” in May 2026. Leavitt’s resignation has been motivated by a desire to spend more quality time with her young family.
The news of Leavitt’s impending resignation was first announced by Donald Trump via a post on Truth Social on August 12. In his message, Trump expressed his appreciation for her contributions, stating, “Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections.
