Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Principal and Child in Iowa

In a heart-wrenching incident this weekend, the community of BCLUW is mourning the loss of Joshua Tack, a high school principal, who passed away due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident. The accident, which also claimed the life of a 10-year-old child, occurred during the evening hours of Saturday, August 8, at the intersection of East Worthington Road and Comer Road in Dubuque County, Iowa.
According to local media reports, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene shortly before 9:30 PM after receiving multiple calls about a collision between a car and a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV). Principal Tack, who was just 33 years old, was reportedly travelling northbound in the UTV with five other passengers when the vehicle was hit by an eastbound car.
Emergency responders rushed to the site of the accident, where they found several individuals in serious condition. Within moments, six people, including Tack, were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention. Tragically, the 10-year-old child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sadly, Principal Tack succumbed to his injuries on Sunday after being admitted to the hospital.
