One anonymous festival-goer took to Facebook, posting, “Shall we discuss the elephant in the room… Who else got food poisoning? The alleged source of the food poisoning appears to be wraps that contained various types of meat, which left numerous attendees grappling with acute digestive issues. The spokesperson explained, “Our Health and Safety team launched an immediate investigation and identified a third-party food vendor as the suspected source. The Vale of White Horse District Council issued a statement acknowledging the potential outbreak. “Truck Festival reported the issue to us and said that a number of festival-goers reported food poisoning symptoms to the medical tent. From this, after some investigations, they were able to quickly identify a potential source and Truck Festival closed the stand,” the statement explained. The council is working closely with Truck Festival, the food vendor, and related health authorities to investigate further into the matter.
