Following a successful career spanning over two decades, singer-songwriter Michelle Branch is set to delight her fans with a new EP titled “Everywhere and Back Again.” This collection, which is due for release on 6th November, promises reimagined versions of some of her most cherished tracks from her 25-year career, including hits like “Everywhere,” “All You Wanted,” “Goodbye to You,” and “Breathe.”
In a press release, Branch expressed her excitement about collaborating with a range of artists from various genres, remarking, “Getting to hear these songs, many I wrote as a teenager, performed by friends and peers that I so greatly admire has been such a ‘pinch me’ moment as a songwriter.” She noted that this fresh perspective on her earlier work adds new meaning to songs about love and loss, painting them in a different light through the voices of today’s artists.

Branch has introduced the project with a re-envisioned version of her Grammy-winning hit “The Game of Love,” originally a collaboration with Santana. In this new rendition, she has joined forces with Gregg Alexander of the New Radicals, who co-wrote the song alongside Rick Nowels. “Many people don’t realise that Gregg wrote ‘The Game of Love’,” she said, celebrating this collaboration as a powerful completion of a circle. Released in 2002, the original track reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was lauded for its captivating blend of pop and rock sounds.
In addition to her EP announcement, Branch unveiled plans for a fall tour to honour both the new release and the 25th anniversary of her acclaimed debut album, “The Spirit Room.” Her tour will kick off on 27th September in Seattle, making stops in cities across the United States until mid-November. Fans will have the opportunity to secure presale tickets beginning on 15th July at 10 AM local time.
The singer-songwriter celebrated this exciting announcement with a special one-night-only event titled “MBTV Presents: Everywhere and Back Again – Live in Front of a Studio Audience,” held on 14th July at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood. The venue was decorated in a nostalgic Y2K theme, reflecting the era that has been significant in Branch’s music journey.
Reflecting on her career, Branch conveyed her gratitude towards her loyal fanbase, stating, “Being able to celebrate a 25-year career while firmly believing my best work is still ahead of me is the dream of any artist. And having fans that have grown up beside me who are still listening and still care after all these years is the greatest gift.”
