A 25-year-old woman from New Jersey has been charged with serious sexual offences against a child under the age of 13. Victoria Cranmer from Little Egg Harbor was arrested on 8 July, after a disturbing video surfaced on a mobile phone that she had previously been gifted.

The alarming discovery was made by a woman, identified only as Ms. P., who decided to check the iPhone after she asked Cranmer to return it when she was asked to leave the house. According to police reports, Ms. P. came across a disturbing 14-second video stored in the phone’s Snapchat Memories feature. The footage purportedly shows Cranmer engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a young child.
After witnessing the alarming content, Ms. P. promptly saved the video and handed the mobile device over to law enforcement officials. This action initiated a formal investigation. The police then procured search warrants for both the phone and Cranmer’s Snapchat account, leading to further evidence of additional questionable videos.
Investigators were able to confirm Cranmer’s identity in the recordings due to her distinctive tattoos and recognisable voice. One particular tattoo mentioned is described as depicting “boobs, a lightning bolt and a mushroom.” Ms. P. also recognised the bathroom featured in the video, further confirming the authenticity of the content.
As the inquiry progressed, detectives uncovered multiple videos allegedly recorded by Cranmer featuring her and the child. The most shocking of these showed her sitting on a toilet while exposing her genitals, during which the child was seen touching her. Allegations suggest that Cranmer appeared to laugh and engage in conversation with the child throughout the incident.
Cranmer now faces a range of criminal charges, including second-degree sexual assault, the production of child sexual abuse material, possession of such material, and endangering the welfare of a child. She is currently being held at Ocean County Jail without bail, pending further legal proceedings.
As of now, it remains unclear whether Cranmer has appointed legal representation to address the charges against her. The case has raised significant concern over child safety and the reporting of such crimes.
