Judge Scolds Dakota Mortensen for Driving Son, 2, on Motorcycle During Custody Exchange with Taylor Frankie Paul

A custody hearing held on 8th July in a Utah courtroom drew significant attention as the judge reprimanded Dakota Mortensen for riding a motorcycle with his two-year-old son, Ever. Commissioner Russell Minas made his disapproval clear during the proceedings, stating, “We’re not going to do that anymore,” when Mortensen’s attorney admitted to the motorcycle incident occurring during a custody exchange.

The hearing was focused on the custody arrangements between Mortensen and his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Frankie Paul, who rose to fame through the reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Following the judge’s ruling, Paul was granted increased parental time with Ever, extending her custody arrangements through to Monday mornings. This adjustment marked a change from a prior ruling made on 1st June that allocated custody to Paul on alternating weekends and allowed for a midweek visit that did not include overnight stays.

In addition to the custody amendments, the court mandated that Ever is transported exclusively in “enclosed vehicles” equipped with appropriate safety features for his age. The judge also reiterated previous directives prohibiting both parties from making disparaging comments about one another on social media platforms.

Although ABC truncated the release of Paul’s Bachelorette season earlier this spring, reports suggest that there might still be plans to air it in the future. Furthermore, while production on the fifth season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has been disrupted, it has been reported that filming for new confessionals is ongoing.
