Nearly half a century since the iconic film *Grease* graced cinema screens, Didi Conn, best known for her role as Frenchy, has revealed that her former co-stars are collaborating to organise a fundraiser. The goal is to raise funds for a New York-based organisation that provides vital care for individuals with disabilities, including Conn’s own son.

This model offers not just sustenance but also a therapeutic environment for those who live there. However, recent cuts to Medicaid have posed financial challenges for the organisation. Recognising this struggle, the cast of *Grease* has committed to help raise funds and boost awareness.
“We’re going to do a big fundraiser at the Hollywood Bowl and somewhere in New York,” Conn announced. Furthermore, she expressed her ambitious dream of hosting the event at a venue such as Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium, emphasising the enduring popularity of *Grease* and its cultural significance.
In conjunction with her advocacy work, Conn has also teamed up with Laura Geller Beauty to promote a nostalgic beauty campaign. This initiative, in playful homage to her iconic “Beauty School Dropout” scene, encourages women to embrace simple, at-home beauty solutions rather than costly salon treatments. The campaign was launched as an exclusive offering on Amazon Prime Day, back on June 22.
