Former reality television star Jordan Eubanks has reflected on his experiences during his time on *The Hills*, a show that significantly influenced his career and creative pursuits. The 41-year-old, who held a recurring role in the first season, recalls it as a platform that opened many doors for him and his fellow cast members.
Eubanks shared a close friendship with co-star Brian Drolet, and the duo have remained in contact and collaborated on various creative projects since their time on the show. Their enduring friendship has allowed them to navigate the challenges of the entertainment industry together. “When we moved to LA, we were just bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, thinking we were going to make all these movies and do all these things,” Eubanks said of their youthful ambitions. “The Hills was a curveball for us; it came out of nowhere.”

The reality show, which premiered in 2006, chronicled the lives of notable personalities such as Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, and Spencer Pratt. Despite only appearing in one season, the impact of *The Hills* left a lasting mark on Eubanks, and he and Drolet found themselves in a “unique position” post-show due to not signing exclusive contracts. This decision allowed them greater creative freedom and ownership of their ideas.

After parting ways with the show, Eubanks and Drolet shifted their focus to making films and exploring various creative endeavours. They initially started with a painting business, which then evolved into a venture known as Wall Kicks. This creative initiative involved producing three-dimensional sneaker art that could be showcased on walls. Eubanks expressed his excitement about this project, noting how it combined their filmmaking and artistic skills.
In addition to Wall Kicks, Eubanks had a vision to create something unusual: putting a football helmet on top of a Christmas tree. This whimsical idea laid the groundwork for LightHeaded, a sports memorabilia company that he co-founded with Drolet, who serves as the director of production. “About two and a half years ago, my buddy called me and said, ‘We need to rekindle LightHeaded. We’re older and have more experience now to lead this company,'” Eubanks explained. He promptly moved to Texas, dedicating himself to getting the business off the ground over the last year and a half.
Reflecting on his journey, Eubanks expresses gratitude for the experiences he gained from *The Hills*. He credits the show for helping him forge numerous relationships and establishing valuable connections within the creative community. “I think I was blessed. The Hills gave me a platform and opened many doors,” he stated, adding that his artistic inclinations were present even in his school days, which he found challenging due to his less conventional learning style.
Eubanks acknowledges that finding one’s path in life is a gradual process. “It takes a long time to figure out what you want to do,” he remarked, encouraging others to remain adaptable in an ever-changing world. He shared his belief that it’s not necessary to have everything figured out, especially in today’s fast-paced environment.
In his personal life, Eubanks is a father to a three-year-old son, whom he described as the “best thing in the world.” He currently resides in Texas and, while unsure of what the future holds, he remains optimistic. “I just never gave up,” he affirmed.
Eubanks also harbours aspirations to return to the film industry, an area he has always been passionate about. “I moved out to LA for storytelling and creating different narratives; it’s not just about being in front of the camera,” he clarified. As he continues to explore various creative avenues, Eubanks holds onto the hope of reconnecting with his filmmaking roots while balancing the demands of his burgeoning business and family life.
With renewed ambitions and a wealth of experiences under his belt, Jordan Eubanks exemplifies the notion that past challenges can serve as foundations for future success. As he innovates in business and reflects on his time in reality television, there is no denying that his journey is one defined by resilience and creativity.
