Ramsay, 59, credited his son-in-law, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, for introducing him to a breakfast option that has quickly become a family favourite through the Uber Eats platform. Recalling a hectic morning at home, he described a challenging breakfast scenario while preparing scrambled eggs for his six children. With only three eggs on hand, he was grateful when Peaty arrived with a breakfast sandwich from a nearby restaurant called Eggslut.

“I looked at Adam and asked where this had come from,” Ramsay recounted. “The speed of the delivery was just incredible.” The experience led Ramsay to halt his egg preparations and instead extend the family breakfast with a complete Uber Eats order.
Ramsay noted that efficient meal solutions like Uber Eats are indispensable for his household, especially on weekends. He remarked on the chaotic atmosphere of the Ramsay home, stating, “It’s a busy household, let me tell you.” The delivery service has become a staple in their routine, with Ramsay expressing how it allows families to choose from a variety of delectable local dishes with ease. “There’s something for everybody,” he added, referencing their residences in both L.A. and London.
In conjunction with his partnership with Uber Eats, Ramsay appeared in a global delivery campaign that highlights the need to pause cooking during crucial moments, such as World Cup matches. In a humorous segment, he interrupts individuals engrossed in meal prep, advising them to order from Uber Eats instead. “Who could cook at a time like this?” he asks, illustrating the fun and urgency of football viewing.
Ramsay emphasised the short duration of World Cup games, stating, “This thing is over and done with within 90 minutes,” and encouraging fans to save cooking for another time. His ideal game-day foods include burgers that are quick to obtain and perfect for eating during match breaks. “Order a local smash burger just five minutes before halftime,” he suggested, allowing just enough time to enjoy the meal before the second half starts.
When it comes to multitasking, Ramsay mentioned that his experience as a chef allows him to navigate various activities in the kitchen simultaneously. “I get incredibly impatient when things aren’t going right,” he acknowledged, often stepping in to assist his daughter, Tilly, who is also a budding chef. “I’ll probably be on a running machine while also making a Wellington,” he quipped.
As for the World Cup, Ramsay has made a bold prediction: he believes Brazil will triumph over England with a score of 3-2 in the final. He expressed his support for multiple teams including Team USA, Scotland, England, and Brazil, highlighting how the tournament provides an opportunity for families to gather and enjoy the spectacle together.
Outside of football, Ramsay’s recent family activities have included a trip to Connecticut with his wife Tana, while he films season 25 of Hell’s Kitchen. His two younger sons, Jesse and Oscar, enjoyed an entertaining week at Great Wolf Lodge during their visit to the United States.
Looking ahead, Ramsay intends to watch some of the World Cup matches live and spend the summer in Los Angeles with his family. With his culinary expertise and family chaos intertwined, it’s clear that Gordon Ramsay is fully embracing both his professional commitments and personal life as the World Cup approaches.
