**New Family Zone Unveiled at Six Flags Magic Mountain: Looney Tunes Land**

Six Flags Magic Mountain, located in Valencia, California, has introduced an exciting new section to its amusement park, named Looney Tunes Land. This vibrant area, which opened to the public on June 6, 2023, features four distinct zones that celebrate iconic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, the Road Runner, and the Tasmanian Devil.
The unveiling of Looney Tunes Land comes as part of the park’s ongoing efforts to enhance its offerings in commemoration of its 55th anniversary. This development replaces the former Bugs Bunny World, which was dismantled earlier this year to expedite the construction process ahead of the busy summer season. The park had originally aimed to complete the project in phases, but the closure of Bugs Bunny World allowed for more efficient progress.
Designed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Looney Tunes Land is tailored for families and features a variety of colourful environments, interactive attractions, and opportunities for character encounters that are ideal for younger guests.
At the heart of this new area lies Bugs Bunny Play Park, the central attraction that includes an assortment of rides such as the Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round, Sylvester’s Pounce & Bounce, and the Looney Ballooneys. The amphitheatre named after Bugs Bunny will host an all-new stage show titled Vacation Mayhem, featuring beloved characters such as Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. Additionally, a free play area called Wise Acres will be introduced soon, complete with crawling tunnels and climbing structures.
Moving beyond Bugs Bunny’s realm, visitors can venture into TAZ-mania, a tropical setting inhabited by the mischievous Tasmanian Devil. Here, guests can enjoy Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours, allowing for an exploration of the island’s quirky wilderness. An augmented reality experience, Taz’s Exploration Trail, is also slated to enhance guest engagement in the near future.
Daffy Duck claims his own territory in Camp Duck Amuck, which offers a woodland escape reminiscent of the High Sierra. Within this zone, Daffy’s Forest Four-Wheelers is a reimagined version of the previous Taz’s Trucking Company ride, and features other attractions like the Camp Bus ride and the beginner coaster, Canyon Cruiser. The Camp Duck Amuck Fun Fort is poised to be a highlight for younger visitors, filled with various climbing and sliding activities.
Furthermore, a zone inspired by New Mexico presents Wile E. Coyote’s ongoing pursuit of the elusive Road Runner. The Road Runner Express coaster curiously winds through 679 feet of desert trails, mingling excitement with nostalgia for fans of the classic cartoons.
Park president Brian Oerding expressed enthusiasm about Looney Tunes Land, stating, “It blends Warner Bros.’ timeless cartoon storytelling with the energy, humour, and adventure that generations have loved for decades in a vibrant new experience.”
The launch of Looney Tunes Land marks the second significant investment by Six Flags Magic Mountain in its 55th anniversary celebrations. Last year’s refurbishment of the Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles water park has already enhanced the park’s appeal, and plans are also underway for a unique off-road motorcycle coaster set to debut in 2027.
With its comprehensive selection of attractions and character interactions, Looney Tunes Land promises to be a vibrant addition to Six Flags Magic Mountain, ensuring that families can create lasting memories amid the charm and humour of these timeless cartoon characters.
