Kelly Rizzo has recently shared her personal reflections on signs from her late husband, Bob Saget, following his unexpected death in January 2022. In a recent episode of her podcast, “Comfort Food with Kelly Rizzo,” she explored the concept of receiving messages from loved ones who have passed, a notion she admits she was previously sceptical about.

During the episode aired on June 3, Rizzo, 47, posed a question to her audience, asking, “Do you believe in signs?” She elaborated that until her husband’s passing, she had never given much thought to tales of such spiritual communication, viewing them as somewhat whimsical and outside her realm of belief.

Bob Saget, the beloved star of “Full House,” died at the age of 65 after being discovered unresponsive in a hotel room in Orlando. His death was attributed to blunt head trauma resulting from an accidental fall. Rizzo recounted that after Saget’s passing, numerous experiences shifted her perspective on the possibility of signs from the afterlife.

Rizzo shared a poignant anecdote from Saget’s funeral, an event held only five days after his death. While she was consumed by grief during the service, a significant moment transpired that was later relayed to her by his co-star, Lori Loughlin. According to Loughlin, a flock of doves appeared overhead during the ceremony, a sight that resonated deeply with the attendees, including Saget’s son-in-law, Andy Kabel.
“Lori remarked on how beautiful the doves were and asked if someone had arranged for their release,” Rizzo recounted on her podcast. This experience stood out to Rizzo not only as a symbolic gesture but also as a profound sign linked to Saget’s late mother, a connection that Saget himself had reflected upon in the past.
In a further revelation, Rizzo described an experience occurring four months after Saget’s death, which she regards as the most significant sign she has received from him. One evening at her new home, Rizzo began to experience alarming vision issues that left her feeling disoriented and terrified. “I looked at my sister and said, ‘I can’t see you,’ and the situation escalated quickly,” she recalled.
As her symptoms intensified, Rizzo became increasingly anxious, fearing she was experiencing a serious medical event. However, she later connected this episode to a poignant communication from Saget, solidifying her belief in the signs he might be sending her from beyond. “I had these two massive signs that I can’t write off as mere coincidence,” she stated.
Following Saget’s passing, Rizzo, alongside family and friends, issued a heartfelt statement expressing their devastation. “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the message read. It was a testament to Saget’s profound impact, both on his loved ones and his multitude of fans across the globe.
His funeral saw an overwhelming turnout, featuring a number of his closest friends and colleagues, including John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The gathering served not only as a farewell but also as a celebration of a life dedicated to humour and connection.
With the memories of Saget still vivid in her mind, Rizzo continues to honour their time together while sharing her journey through grief and healing. Her exploration of signs and communication from beyond has opened a new chapter in her understanding of love and loss, inviting listeners to reflect on their own experiences. As she navigates her life without Saget, Kelly Rizzo remains hopeful that these signs may offer solace and connection that transcends the boundary of life and death.
