‘Unruly’ United Airlines Passenger Arrested After He Allegedly Attempted to Hijack Plane Mid-Flight

In an official statement, United Airlines confirmed the emergency landing at Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin, in response to the disruption caused by the passenger. “United flight 2005 from Chicago to Minneapolis landed safely in Madison, Wisconsin to address a security concern with an unruly passenger,” the airline reported. The flight was anticipated to resume its route to Minneapolis later that same evening.
