A 56-year-old man, Bradly Shawn Sadduck, has been charged with second-degree murder following the alleged killing of his wife in a violent incident at their home in Florida. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) received a distressing call on the morning of May 28 after Sadduck approached a neighbour in a dishevelled state, claiming that his home was “full of blood.”

According to multiple sources, including Local 10 and NBC 6, Sadduck was found at the neighbour’s property around 6 a.m., wrapped in a Cleveland Browns blanket and reportedly naked. He insisted his house was covered in blood, prompting the neighbour to call the authorities immediately. Upon arriving at Sadduck’s residence, deputies encountered a scene of chaos and horror: the property was littered with broken items, and blood was smeared across various areas of the home.

Tragically, Lynne Alane Shadduck, 62, was later discovered lying in the hallway, unconscious and severely injured. She was naked and had visible wounds on her back, head, and hands. Despite the urgent medical response, she was pronounced dead later that morning at Lower Keys Medical Center.
When questioned by police, Bradly reportedly stated, “things just happened” and asked for help for his wife. He further claimed that the disarray in their home was the result of “rough sex”. Witnesses and accompanying evidence from the scene, however, suggested a far more violent scenario had unfolded.
Medical personnel rushed Lynne to the hospital amid the chaos, but it was clear she had sustained fatal injuries. As investigators pieced together the events leading to her death, they noted that Bradly appeared to have been in a confused state, attributing his lack of memory regarding the events to his consumption of alcohol.
Witness accounts revealed that not long before reaching out to his neighbour, Bradly had been seen in a distressed condition, banging on the windows and doors of another neighbour’s home. Video footage captured him appearing disoriented, attempting to enter the home unsuccessfully.
As part of the ongoing investigation, deputies gained access to the couple’s home through a search warrant, which unveiled the horrific details of the incident. Blood was reportedly found throughout the entire residence, with evidence indicating that Lynne may have been dragged down the hallway towards the bathroom.
The arrest report noted that Sadduck was covered in blood himself and did not appear to fully comprehend the gravity of the situation. This raised further concerns, with investigating officers surmising that there had likely been a significant struggle between the couple before Lynne succumbed to her injuries.
Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsay commented on the incident, reassuring the community that there was no ongoing threat to public safety and confirming that the investigation was in progress. As of the latest reports, Bradly remains in custody at the Key West jail facility, awaiting further legal proceedings.
While the investigation into this tragic case continues, local communities have expressed their shock at the violent events that transpired within their vicinity. The loss of Lynne Alane Shadduck has left family and friends reeling, as they process the impact of her untimely death and the circumstances surrounding it.
As the story develops, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is expected to release further information. The case has drawn significant media attention, highlighting issues of domestic violence and the urgent need for public awareness and intervention in such situations.
